Lockwood Development was founded in 2002 by Chip James, an Omaha native with a vision to redefine excellence in real estate. With a commitment to high standards and exceeding expectations, Lockwood quickly built a strong reputation across the Midwest and set new benchmarks for the industry.

Recognizing the opportunity to enhance project execution, Lockwood expanded into commercial construction, establishing a dedicated construction company to partner with its development sector. This owner-builder relationship ensures seamless coordination from project inception to completion, with properties managed and maintained by Lockwood's in-house team. This integrated approach has been a key driver of the company's success, enabling consistent quality and efficiency across all developments.
