In 2002, Lockwood Development was established in Omaha, Nebraska as a full-service commercial real estate development company. Lockwood’s core focus is the development of land, office buildings, and retail centers primarily within the Midwest. Since its inception, Lockwood has grown to develop approximately 1.5 million square feet of commercial properties in Nebraska and Arkansas.

In 2005, Lockwood Development formed Lockwood Construction, LLC to perform general contracting services, including building shells and tenant finishes.  As a long term holder of the real estate Lockwood develops, Lockwood wanted to control the building process and ensure the buildings were built to the highest standards and quality.
