New tenant coming to American Interstate Place!
Union Pizzeria heads west; Sporting News Grill on deck

Union Pizzeria has closed its north downtown location and has plans to relocate to 156th and West Maple Road.
The restaurant and bar was at 14th and Cuming Streets, inside the Holiday Inn.
The restaurant will be replaced by a Sporting News Grill. The sports-themed restaurants are opening at select Holiday Inns around the country.
The hotel chain says the restaurants are based on a “Generation X” concept. The decor will include large covers of St. Louis-based Sporting News, vintage photos from the publication’s archives and sports memorabilia.
The grill is slated to open this fall.
